Job Title: PT Lead Cashier

Job Summary:

The PT Lead Cashier plays a vital role in generating maximum sales potential through upholding high customer service standards, maintaining store appearance, keeping merchandise filled to the appropriate levels on the sales floor, and minimizing shortages. This position has a limited level of authority to conduct specific management register functions to assist store management on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize sales volume by maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring that the sales floor is visually appealing and well-organized.
  • Maintain store appearance to reflect division standards, replenish merchandise on a timely basis, and have knowledge of the store merchandise.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing Sales Associates, and develop proficiency in all operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively, and take direction and complete assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ensure accuracy in all paperwork, follow all company policies and procedures, and follow Inventory Shrinkage Improvement Program.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
