Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating and sustaining a pleasant and hospitable work environment and maintaining customer relationships. You will also assist with store operations, serve customers in a courteous and efficient manner, and handle donations with care and respect.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in creating a pleasant and hospitable work environment and maintaining good customer relationships.
- Assist with store operations, including sorting, pricing, and distributing donations.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering telephone calls, and maintaining a clean and clutter-free work area.
- Handle donations with care and respect, processing, and maintaining the cleanliness of the sales floor, bathrooms, and entryways.
- Assist with lawn and garden work as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to speak and understand English for effective communication with supervisors, employees, beneficiaries, and customers.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
