We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at Brockton Hospital. The successful candidate will provide on-site athletic event coverage, including pre- and post-event requirements, and maintain appropriate quantities of first aid/athletic training supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with coaches, AD's, event coordinators, parents, and athletes regarding injury management, prevention, and first aid recommendations.
- Produce timely and accurate records and reports to supervisor.
- Maintain established policies and procedures, quality assurance, safety, and infection control.
Requirements:
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to new procedures and techniques, and work under pressure.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Education/Experience/Licenses/Technical:
- Degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine, or related field.
- Current MA Athletic Trainer License.
- Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR/AED certification for the Healthcare Provider.
