Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary:

Brockton Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Flex, 8-hour Night Shift, Registered Nurse (RN) for the Critical Care Unit in Brockton, MA.

Responsibilities:

  • Collects relevant patient health data and analyzes it to determine nursing diagnoses.
  • Develops and implements a Plan of Care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
  • Evaluates and documents patient progress toward attaining expected outcomes.
  • Provides nursing care to assigned patients, administers prescribed medication, and reports significant alterations in patient condition to physicians.
  • Counsels, educates, and includes patients and their families in accordance with the overall plan of care.
  • Assists patients and families in coping with stress accompanying illness and offers solace and support to the dying.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Meditech experience.
  • One year critical care experience.
  • One year ventilator experience.
