Sociology Research Assistant

The Department of Sociology in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota occasionally needs temporary employees to provide research assistant support. These positions are part-time, temporary, and for a single semester of program assistance. They are contingent upon availability of funding. This establishes a pool of applicants for potential openings during the 2024-2025 academic year. Applications will not be acknowledged upon receipt and will only be reviewed if openings occur. Appointments may be renewable based on need, funding, and performance.
QualificationsApplicants with a B.A., M.A., or Ph.D. in Sociology or a related field, or substantial professional recognition in the field, are required to be appointed as a temporary research assistant.
