COTY is on the lookout for dedicated professionals who are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and exceptionally kind.

We are in search of a skilled Skincare Expert to become a vital part of the Orveda Maison Boutique team. The Skincare Expert will be tasked with providing exceptional skincare treatments, enlightening our esteemed clientele on the principles and effectiveness of Orveda skincare, while also promoting products to enhance their personal skincare regimens.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position, you will be expected to:
  • Consistently embody the Orveda brand ethos in accordance with brand standards, including but not limited to: attire guidelines, visual presentation, and maintaining the cleanliness of boutique and spa environments.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, financial transactions, returns, and exchanges.
  • Ensure that the skincare treatment protocol is executed flawlessly, with the treatment area prepared, and that the assessment, treatment steps, and client follow-up are all conducted impeccably.
  • Personalize skincare treatments through comprehensive skin assessments and demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise in spa practices, including understanding skin anatomy, aging processes, a scientific approach to skincare products, and overall wellness.
  • Meet and track personal sales targets, including treatments performed and product sales.
  • Exceed sales targets through proactive cross-selling and upselling strategies.
  • Actively cultivate a loyal clientele to support personal treatment and product sales goals.
  • Collaborate with the Boutique Director to identify and explore new avenues for sales growth with both new and existing clients.
QUALIFICATIONS

We are eager to consider candidates who possess:

Essential:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a skincare specialist in a luxury spa, hotel, or clinic.
  • A valid New York State Esthetician license is required.
  • Experience with luxury skincare brands is essential.
  • Proficiency in facial massage techniques.
  • Flexibility and availability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays based on retail needs.
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
Desirable:
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience with aesthetic tools is advantageous (e.g., steamers, light therapy, radiofrequency, extraction tools, etc.).
