Position Overview:
The Division of Rehabilitation Psychology within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is actively seeking a Rehabilitation Psychologist. This role requires expertise in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on the treatment of individuals with acquired disabilities stemming from neurological and musculoskeletal injuries, as well as chronic medical conditions.

Candidate Profile:
We encourage applications from candidates who possess a robust interest and background in neuropsychological evaluation and therapeutic counseling. Our rehabilitation psychology division is composed of a vibrant team of 12 faculty members, many of whom are engaged in various inpatient medical units such as Stroke, TBI, SCI, Trauma, Burn, Oncology, and General Rehabilitation, alongside outpatient clinics including Ambulatory Services, Psychosocial Oncology, Burn Clinic, and Vestibular Disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
This position primarily involves delivering outpatient psychotherapy and conducting neuropsychological assessments, with the possibility of contributing to inpatient care as our division's presence at the medical center grows.

Professional Development:
The OSU Division of Rehabilitation Psychology is affiliated with the Council of Rehabilitation Psychology Postdoctoral Training Programs. Faculty members have opportunities to train and supervise post-doctoral fellows and residents, as well as engage in teaching and leadership roles throughout the medical center. The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation has been a leader in the field for over 50 years, with national recognition from U.S. News & World Report as one of the top programs in America.

Qualifications:
Applicants must have successfully completed an APA accredited doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology, along with an APA accredited internship. Candidates should be board certified or eligible in Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology, possess a keen interest in academic medicine, and have experience or interest in neuropsychological assessment and counseling. Faculty rank will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications.
