Position Overview:
The Division of Rehabilitation Psychology within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is actively seeking a qualified Rehabilitation Psychologist. This role requires expertise in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on the treatment of individuals with acquired disabilities stemming from neurological and musculoskeletal injuries, as well as chronic medical conditions.

Candidate Profile:
We invite applications from candidates who possess a robust interest and background in neuropsychological assessment and therapeutic counseling. Our division comprises a vibrant team of 12 faculty members, most of whom are engaged in various inpatient medical units, including but not limited to Stroke, TBI, SCI, Trauma, Burn, Oncology, and General Rehabilitation, alongside outpatient clinics such as Ambulatory Services, Psychosocial Oncology, Burn Clinic, and Vestibular Disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
This position primarily entails delivering outpatient psychotherapy and conducting neuropsychological assessments, with opportunities to engage in inpatient care as our division's influence expands within the medical center.

The OSU Division of Rehabilitation Psychology is affiliated with the Council of Rehabilitation Psychology Postdoctoral Training Programs. Research and Innovation:
We are one of only five centers nationwide selected to participate in the NeuroRecovery Network, which employs activity-based therapies for spinal cord injury rehabilitation. Our TBI Model System has been operational since 1997 and is one of the 16 sites funded under the TBI Model.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must have successfully completed an APA accredited doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology, along with an APA accredited internship. Candidates should be board certified or eligible in Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology, and possess a keen interest in academic medicine, with experience or interest in neuropsychological assessment and counseling.
