Job Summary

The MRI Technologist PRN position at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic MRI procedures for patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform magnetic resonance procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Prepare and format exams, including clinical history, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Plan and direct the volume of patients and examinations, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked department, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Interact daily with patients, families, and colleagues, providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
  • Current Advanced Registry in Magnetic Resonance with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Preferred: One year of experience as an MRI Technologist, Medical Radiologic Technologist license through the Texas Medical Board, and Advanced Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
