Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare. As an Ultrasound Imaging Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate imaging, patient comfort, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures, ensuring they are conducted in a timely manner and according to established protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET principles to ensure correct exams and establish rapport.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Adhere to safety, infection-control, drug, and radiation protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of equipment and work areas.
  • Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance and report any issues to management.
  • Maintain accurate medical imaging records and documentation according to department standards.
  • Serve as a preceptor, providing quality training to new team members and on new services and initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Certification/License/Registration: Must be registered in one of the following:
    • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) OB/GYN, Abdomen, Breast, Musculoskeletal, or Vascular (RVT or RVS)
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Sonography or Breast Sonography
    • Cardio Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
