We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team at Parkway Workforce Solutions. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing x-ray exams for various service lines, including IP, ER, and OR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform x-ray exams for IP, ER, and OR service lines
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images
  • Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort
  • Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, and monitor video display to adjust density or contrast
  • Monitor patients during examinations, ensure their safety, and follow procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation
  • Produce diagnostic images, report important information to the Physician, and update patient records
  • Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment
