Responsibilities in Engineering Support:

  • Conduct routine calibrations on furnace controllers and execute Temperature Uniformity Surveys.
  • Assist in gathering and evaluating process data from vacuum brazing, heat treatment, and aging processes.
  • Collaborate with engineers to draft procedural documentation and reports.
  • Construct and assemble fixtures for various processes, including core stacking and pressure testing.
  • Fabricate specialized tools as necessary.
  • Provide operational support to manufacturing activities.

Core Competencies:

  • Skilled in utilizing standard hand tools and measurement instruments.
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering schematics.
  • Adept at assembling process fixtures.
  • Competent in using personal computers for documentation and data management (MS Word & Excel).

Laboratory Equipment Maintenance:

  • Calibrate temperature controllers and thermocouples.
  • Advise on the acquisition or replacement of laboratory instruments.

Educational Background:

  • High school diploma or an Associate's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
