Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.

As a Surgical Nursing Team Lead, you will assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.

You will participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to advance their nursing skills, work collaboratively, and make a meaningful impact in patient care.

About the Role

This position requires a Registered Nurse diploma and Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create a teamwork environment.
  • Support proper inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.
  • Recommend and implement courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
