About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Amedisys, a leading provider of home health, hospice, and high-acuity care. As a RN Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families by providing much-needed care in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient start of care comprehensive assessment, evaluation, development, and implementation of plan of care.
  • Complete OASIS assessments timely and accurately.
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with the plan of care and agency policies.
  • Help achieve and maintain continuity of patient care by communicating information with individual staff, physicians, family members, and community resources.
  • Initiate appropriate referrals when indicated.
  • Promote and maintain patient health through teaching and appropriate rehabilitative measures.
  • Assist patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
Qualifications
  • Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
  • One year of clinical experience as an RN. If less than one year of clinical experience, you must be approved by VP of Clinical.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.
