Job Overview

Plastic Ingenuity is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members to meet production goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
