Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supervising associates in a production environment, preferably in the cosmetic industry. They will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, communicate, and develop associates. A high level of personal commitment, motivation, and intensity is required, with demonstrated leadership in a production environment.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of production equipment, safe operating techniques, product capabilities, and troubleshooting methods. They will also have significant communication skills, both verbal and written.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and monitor daily production for assigned value stream
  • Supervise and lead the activities associated with filing and assembly
  • Understand and implement business unit policies and procedures
  • Monitor compliance to ensure orders are completed on time and desired finished goods inventory levels are maintained
  • Perform data collection and provide metrics and reporting as required
  • Communicate daily with Operations manager

Requirements

  • Prefer a 4-year BS or BA degree in an engineering discipline, but other areas of study will be considered with appropriate and relevant experience
  • 5-7 years of experience required
  • Proven track record of supervision of associates in a production environment
  • Knowledge of production equipment and safe operating techniques
  • Significant communication skills
