Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide basic care and support, including feeding, toileting, and transferring residents.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition, including vital signs and any concerns.
  • Assist with ambulation and transfers, using proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in regular in-service training and education to stay up-to-date on best practices and policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent.
  • NYS Certification as a Nurse's Aide required.
