About the Role

At Unavailable, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of diagnostic imaging. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with board-certified physicians and highly skilled employees to provide quality care with compassion.

Key Responsibilities

You will operate diagnostic equipment, perform technical diagnostic imaging procedures related to CT, and provide patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care. Your expertise will include positioning patients, calibrating equipment, and documenting findings, all under the direction of the imaging supervisor/manager.

  • Perform CT exams on patients according to departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director.
  • Prepare equipment to ensure it is operational, safe, and functioning according to diagnostic standards.
  • Problem-solve equipment failure and imaging quality, and contact service representatives or CES regarding equipment problems.
  • Ensure daily equipment and room maintenance are performed during/after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are taken to ensure infection control standards.
  • Complete all quality checks and ensure equipment logs are maintained.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (R) (CT); must maintain current.
  • Certified by the state of Texas – MRT.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Preferred: One (1) year of experience as a radiographer or one (1) year of radiography clinical rotation experience in a healthcare setting.
