Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at St. Luke's Health–Brazosport Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic equipment and performing technical diagnostic imaging procedures related to CT scans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and perform CT scans on patients according to departmental procedure protocols.
  • Provide patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test.
  • Perform complete diagnostic imaging tests, including positioning patients, calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings.
  • Assist patients with basic patient care needs.
  • Prepare equipment to ensure it is operational, safe, and functioning according to diagnostic standards.
  • Problem-solve equipment failure and imaging quality, and contact service representatives or CES regarding equipment problems.
  • Ensure daily equipment and room maintenance are performed during/after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards.
  • Complete all quality checks and ensure that equipment logs are maintained.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (R) (CT); must maintain current.
  • Certified by the state of Texas – MRT.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Preferred: One (1) year of experience as a radiographer or one (1) year of radiography clinical rotation experience in a healthcare setting.
Compensation

$44.30/hour.
