Work Schedule: 35-40 hours per week, with 40% of hours conducted remotely via telehealth.
Flexibility: Customize your workdays and hours to fit your lifestyle.
Compensation: $35.00-$40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Travel Reimbursement: Compensation provided at the same hourly rate for travel time to and from client facilities.
Contract Duration: Minimum commitment of 13 weeks.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of clinical experience (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition.
- Current state licensure/certification as required.
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
- Knowledge of state survey processes and nutrition care regulations.
- Proficient in electronic health record systems.
- Perform thorough nutritional evaluations for patients and residents.
- Provide specialized assistance for enteral feeding.
- Conduct nutritional education and counseling sessions for patients and their families.
- Ensure adherence to Department of Health/state/federal regulations and uphold company standards.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Clinical Knowledge: Expertise in Medical Nutrition Therapy to create tailored nutrition plans for diverse health conditions.
- Assessment & Planning: Conduct nutritional assessments, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Communication Skills: Educate patients effectively, engage with diverse populations, and build strong relationships with residents and staff.
- Additional Skills: Knowledge of food service operations, regulatory compliance, EHR proficiency, and quality improvement initiatives.
