Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Supervisor II to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our PMCM Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of highway, bridge, and pedestrian infrastructure projects that meet current Americans with Disabilities (ADA) standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with technical staff, consultants, contractors, and other agencies to expedite project completion.
  • Supervise field inspections, assign and review work, train, evaluate performance, and provide technical guidance.
  • Review and evaluate construction schedules, recommending adjustments to problems arising during construction.
  • Analyze potential delays and claims, recommending appropriate action.
  • Schedule and conduct pre-construction and progress meetings.
  • Recommend solutions to problems arising during construction.
  • Utilize computer and business software packages to prepare correspondence, manage project workflow, and maintain project records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in construction management/inspection of highway, bridge, ramp, and/or pedestrian infrastructure projects.
  • MARTCP Certifications.
  • OSHA 10 and E&S Certifications.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and materials.
  • Knowledge of inspection methods.
  • Ability to deal effectively with contractors, engineers, architects, and representatives of utility and government agencies.
  • Supervisory ability.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal safety, environment guidelines, and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Baltimore City.

Compensation

Expected Salary: $93,400-$136,700.
