Position Title: Aircraft Technician
Location: Brunswick, GA
Compensation: $32.18 per hour

Position Details:
- 12-month contract with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs of varying complexity on aircraft systems and structures with minimal oversight.
- Receive and interpret work assignments, executing complex inspections, repairs, and modifications independently.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Team Lead, Shift Team Manager, and Inspection Department to ensure adherence to internal and FAA standards. Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other documentation accurately and promptly.
- Ensure all tasks meet quality standards and specifications.
- Properly label and securely store customer property and equipment.
- Follow standard operating procedures for operating ground support equipment (e.g., power carts, hydraulic mules, forklifts).
- Assist with aircraft movements in hangar and ramp areas.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced technicians.
- Safeguard customer property.
- Dispose of waste materials (fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids) and maintain cleanliness in workspaces.
- Implement Lean and continuous improvement practices.
- Utilize and maintain company tools and equipment; return items to storage after use.
- Adhere to safety regulations, utilize protective gear, and address unsafe conditions.
- Employ material tracking systems to manage parts inventory, monitor work progress, and log labor hours.
- Participate in flight tests as necessary for aircraft certification and final evaluations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification along with 2 years of aviation maintenance experience, or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience including 2 years on mid/large size aircraft.
- A valid Driver's License is required.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations, repair station protocols, and quality control manuals.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
