Key Responsibilities
The primary duty of this role is to manage incoming phone inquiries related to laboratory services from our clients. This includes:
- Providing lab results and clarifying specimen collection protocols.
- Facilitating communication between clients and technical staff.
- Addressing client concerns and escalating issues as necessary.
- Maintaining a service level where 95% of calls are answered within 30 seconds.
Daily tasks also involve handling critical calls, preparing risk management documentation, troubleshooting client issues, and ensuring quality assurance in service delivery.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
- A high school diploma and a minimum of five years of experience in a customer service capacity.
- A strong commitment to service excellence, demonstrated dependability, and punctuality.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
- Effective communication skills to build rapport with clients.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with medical terminology and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are advantageous. Experience in a laboratory setting or similar environment is also beneficial.
Additional Information
This position offers a flexible work arrangement, allowing for a combination of remote and onsite responsibilities. Employees must ensure they have the necessary resources for remote work.
