Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Safety Coordinator to join our team at FIC America. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the administration and distribution of personal protective equipment and safety devices for machines
  • Assist in the design and implementation of safety and health programs to prevent, correct, and/or control unsafe and noncompliant conditions
  • Investigate accidents to determine causes and implement measures to prevent future incidents
  • Plan and test emergency systems and procedures to ensure proper preparation
  • Review and evaluate new and existing operations to identify and resolve safety issues
  • Perform Hazard Analysis to identify and resolve safety issues in manufacturing processes
  • Train employees on OSHA regulations and company safety policies
  • Conduct safety audits and advise management on safety issues observed
  • Maintain all necessary legal documentation and complete related reports
Requirements
  • 2+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment or related education
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations, gained through experience or education
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to cross-train and comply with company policies and procedures
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred
