Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team at BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company). As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for performing various duties to support the manufacturing of finished goods and raw materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex maintenance on facility and manufacturing equipment
  • Ensure manufacturing systems are operating within defined parameters
  • Conduct basic mechanical design and database maintenance
  • Provide technical, maintenance, and troubleshooting support throughout the facility
  • Identify and execute engineering and continuous improvement projects
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment
  • Follow established procedures and Quality System Regulations
  • Understand and follow corporate safety standards, local facility operating procedures, and safety policies
  • Operate with minimal supervision and perform other duties as assigned
  • Develop training programs and train Manufacturing Technicians on operational maintenance
  • Lead projects and ensure successful implementation
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-year Technical Degree preferred
  • AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience required
  • 4 years manufacturing experience preferred
