Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with educational staff to establish instructional objectives and methodologies that align with district standards.
  • Implement lesson plans that adhere to educational guidelines and accommodate diverse learning preferences.
  • Regularly evaluate student progress and modify teaching techniques as necessary.
  • Contribute to campus improvement initiatives and assist in adapting special education curricula.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree and a valid Texas Teacher Certification with bilingual endorsements.
  • Understanding of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), and strategies for second language acquisition.
  • Proficient communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Equipment Utilized: Personal computer and standard teaching tools.
