Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our residential facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping individuals achieve long-term recovery.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct care to patients in our residential facility, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of opioid use disorder.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and quality care for patients.
- Monitor patients for signs and symptoms of intoxication and withdrawal, and provide medically monitored evaluation and withdrawal management as needed.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, including progress notes and medication administration records.
- Manage and administer medications as ordered by the Medical Director.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients, and refer them to outside professionals as needed.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment, and comply with healthcare procedures and regulations.
- Unrestricted RN license in the state of Maine.
- Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
- One year of experience in detox, emergency, or med-surge nursing preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Competitive salary, starting at $30.00 an hour.
