Job Title: RTL Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced RTL Design Engineer to join our team at Apptad Inc. as a SoC Integration Specialist. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development of our advanced ADAS processor SoCs, ensuring seamless integration of complex third-party intellectual property (IP) into our SoC designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. IP Integration:
    • Integrate complex third-party IPs into the SoC, ensuring compatibility and performance.
    • Configure IPs according to the requirements and specifications.
    • Develop and implement logic to facilitate seamless integration of IPs within the SoC.
  2. RTL Quality Assurance:
    • Perform RTL quality checks to ensure correctness and efficiency.
    • Address and resolve Lint, Clock Domain Crossing (CDC), and Reset Domain Crossing (RDC) issues.
    • Fix any defects identified by the Design Verification (DV) teams.
  3. Collaboration with Physical Design Teams:
    • Work closely with Physical Design teams to address equivalence check issues, timing closure challenges, and area optimization.
    • Ensure that integrated IPs meet all physical design requirements and constraints.
  4. Defect Resolution:
    • Diagnose and rectify issues reported by DV teams.
    • Provide timely fixes and updates to maintain the integrity and performance of the SoC.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, configurations, and issue resolutions.
    • Provide regular updates and reports on the integration status and any challenges encountered.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in SoC integration, RTL design, and verification, preferably in ADAS or related fields.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in RTL design languages (Verilog, VHDL).
    • Strong understanding of SoC architecture and IP integration.
    • Experience with Lint, CDC, and RDC tools and methodologies.
    • Familiarity with physical design constraints and timing analysis.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ADAS or automotive SoC design.
  • Knowledge of third-party IP integration and configuration.
  • Familiarity with EDA tools and flows for RTL design and verification.
