Job Description

Job Summary

The Ambulatory Resource Team is a dynamic and adaptable group of healthcare professionals who provide high-quality care to patients in the outpatient setting. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to patients in a variety of settings, including pediatric after-hours clinics.
This position requires a highly motivated and adaptable LPN who is able to work independently and as part of a team to provide excellent patient care. The LPN will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, including rooming patients, point of care testing, and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including pediatric after-hours clinics
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver excellent patient care
  • Room patients, perform point of care testing, and administer medications as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes

Requirements

  • Completion of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program
  • Minimum of six months experience as LPN required
  • Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state
  • A current CPR card is required; either an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card or an American Red Cross Professional Rescuer card
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required
