Job Summary
IGT is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our control room and its interactions with our lottery and vendor partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous system uptime and operational efficiency in the control room
- Coordinate and schedule computer operators, direct work, and evaluate operational performance
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure performance plans, memos, and reports are distributed, understood, utilized, and made available to all computer operators
- Assist in revising or establishing new systems to improve productivity and computer efficiency
- Develop procedures and control mechanisms to improve operations and reduce operational errors
- Interface daily with customers and vendors
- Monitor quality assurance and security of data
- Ensure daily production of systems, including software and hardware changes, and serve as a client liaison
- Analyze results and recommend test process improvements
- Monitor, track, and manage the configuration, access, and delivery process of software coding for the lottery, including games, parameters, odds, and claims
- Verify and analyze the accuracy and quality of hardware and software products through maintenance, attention to detail, and work environment
- Provide recommendations to management for systems needs and all external and internal factors related to the control room
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in leading or supervising employees
