As a Therapist II, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic treatment services to patients and their families in an acute care setting. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping patients achieve positive outcomes and improve their mental health.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to patients and their families.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Experience working in an acute care setting, preferably in a psychiatric hospital or partial hospitalization program.
- Strong knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapies and other evidence-based treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
