Behavioral Health Therapist Opportunities

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Therapists to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health. As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with mental and behavioral health concerns.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field and have experience in healthcare, preferably in a psychiatric setting. You will work in an acute care setting, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services.
As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions, assessing patients' needs, developing treatment plans, and providing counseling and support. You will also be expected to educate patients about their mental health and substance use conditions, self-care strategies, and treatment options.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address patients' specific needs and goals.
- Assess patients' needs by conducting comprehensive assessments to identify mental health concerns, strengths, and challenges.
- Develop treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals, providing guidance in the implementation of clinical interventions.
- Provide counseling and support to patients, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help manage symptoms and improve overall well-being.
- Educate patients about their mental health and/or substance use condition, self-care strategies, and treatment options.
- Document patient progress by maintaining detailed records of therapy sessions, including patient progress, goals, and interventions.
- Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited school.
- At minimum, an in-training as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-IT), Marriage and Family Therapist Training License (MFT-TL), or Advance Practice Social Work (APSW) or equivalent in the state practicing.
- Working knowledge of therapeutic intervention and techniques for all age groups, as well as the dynamics of human growth and behavior.
