Job Title: New Store Development Coordinator

Locations: G&B/GGET Main office- Vernon, CA

Classification: Direct-hire, Salary, FLSA OT-Exempt

Reports to: New Store Director


What's the Opportunity?

We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a New Store Development Coordinator. As a key member of our Design Build team, you'll provide logistical support to ensure the successful launch of new retail locations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Track equipment lead times and manage procurement to meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate payment for FF&E and contractor invoices with the accounting team.
  • Provide weekly pipeline updates to the leadership team, tracking build-out timelines and costs.
  • Work with the design team, construction manager, and/or general contractor to resolve issues related to backordered items, availability, and damaged goods.
  • Maintain up-to-date project build-out cost sheets and gantt charts to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Coordinate the delivery and installation of owner-supplied items to meet opening timelines.
  • Coordinate prompt payment to vendors and contractors with the accounting department.
  • Maintain project folders, including plan versions, invoices, receipts, and cost sheets, from project start to close-out.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in Excel and the Google Suite of products, with experience in Bluebeam and other design and construction software a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction management or construction administration.

Physical Requirements:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Light work, including moving objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Moving between work areas and visiting worksites as needed.
