Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice IPU RN or LPN to join our team at Hospice of the Piedmont. This is a unique opportunity to provide direct nursing care to patients in our Inpatient Unit, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the physical, environmental, and safety needs of patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide direct patient care according to the plan of care, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and Hospice Standards of Care.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise LPNs and nurse aides, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of patient care and supervision.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ASN or BSN preferred)
  • Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license or Licensed Practical Nurse license
  • One year of clinical nursing experience (hospice experience preferred)
  • Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care (desired)
