Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) is seeking a highly qualified and passionate educator to join our dynamic team as a Faculty Member in Architectural Engineering. About the PositionWe are seeking a Faculty Member in Architectural Engineering to teach and mentor our undergraduate students in the Civil and Architectural Engineering and Construction Management (CAECM) Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging courses, refining our curricula, and supporting student recruitment and success.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality undergraduate courses in architectural engineering, focusing on hands-on learning and real-world applications.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of our curricula, ensuring they remain relevant and effective in preparing students for the built environment.
- Support student recruitment and success by engaging with prospective students, advising current students, and mentoring student research projects.
- Stay current in the field through consulting, research, and continuing education, and apply this knowledge to enhance teaching and student learning.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in architectural engineering, civil engineering, or a closely related field is preferred; extensive industry experience, a master's degree, and professional licensure (P.E., P.G., and/or P.H.) would be considered under the proper circumstances.
- Strong commitment to and interest in undergraduate teaching and mentorship.
- Available to begin Fall 2025.
