Assistant Professor of Psychology

The Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applications for a full-time position of Assistant Professor of Psychology, with a preference for Neuropsychology, Cognitive Psychology, or related field of specialization.
Responsibilities- Teach a variety of psychology courses, including Foundations of Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Addictive and Compulsive Behavior, Psychological Disorders and Mental Health, and others.
- Develop new courses that align with their area of specialization.
- Engage in scholarship and contribute service to the institution and their profession.
- Ph.D. in Psychology.
- A strong record of undergraduate teaching experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build successful relationships with students and faculty from other departments.
The HSC department holds a unique position in an applications-oriented institution, allowing faculty to design and teach a variety of courses across disciplines. The department is a collegial environment with faculty in psychology, history, literature, Spanish, German, philosophy, user experience, and communication.
