**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of clinical laboratory testing in an accurate and timely fashion.

About the Role:

  • Perform various laboratory tests and procedures, including moderate to highly complex tests.
  • Maintain effective communication with employees and shifts, following all CHAMP and HRO standards.
  • Ensure adherence to Quality Control and Quality Assurance standards at all times.
  • Assume full responsibility for continuing education requirements, licensure, and expertise to adapt as needed to an expanding department with increased testing complexity.

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Science or equivalent.
  • ASCP eligible or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on location and experience.
