Muslim Chaplain

The Muslim Chaplain will provide spiritual guidance and support to the incarcerated population at North Kern State Prison. This role involves conducting religious services, counseling individuals, and organizing educational programs.

• Conduct regular religious services and ceremonies
• Counsel individuals on spiritual and personal matters
• Organize and lead educational programs on Islamic studies and values
• Collaborate with other chaplains and prison staff to provide comprehensive support services
• Develop and implement programs to promote spiritual growth and well-being

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Islamic studies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. A master's degree in divinity or a related field is preferred.

This is a full-time position that requires working in a prison environment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a background check and obtain any necessary clearances.
