Regional Sales Manager - Midwest
We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager with strong value-based technical selling skills and previous experience in the construction, engineering, and/or concrete markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to grow developing markets and seize new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee direct and indirect account management in the US Midwest region
- Establish relationships in the construction industry to create awareness about the possibilities of fiber-reinforced concrete
- Manage existing value chains and develop new engineers, owners, general contractors, and concrete contractors/suppliers
- Facilitate regional business growth with an entrepreneurial mindset to expand revenue and profitability
- Daily management of established regional accounts
- Report on competitor activity, territory forecasting, and territory performance
- Recommend new product innovations to successfully grow the business
- Price negotiation with customers in coordination with the Area Sales Manager
- Execute regional Commercial and Digital Marketing plans in line with X+1 growth plans
- Coordinate superior customer service with the marketing operations team
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree (preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or Sales/Marketing)
- Minimum of 5 years proven outside sales and/or engineering experience
- Willingness and ability to travel upwards of 50% in the assigned region
- Strong negotiation skills in high-pressure environments
- Knowledge of general building processes and new product specification development
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a result-driven mindset
- Concise and accurate decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficient with Microsoft tools, CRM, forecasting, and marketing techniques
- A desire to learn and grow within the organization
- A competitive mindset and a passion to win
