Job Summary

The primary purpose of the Certified Nursing Assistant is to perform various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the residents. This includes assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms and common areas
  • Assist with meal service and snacks
  • Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current CNA certification in Illinois and be able to work every other weekend and rotating holidays. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
