About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at BrightStar Care of Springfield/Decatur. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist with daily tasks, such as feeding, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
Requirements
  • Current, valid state certification as a CNA
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a nursing assistant program
  • CPR certification
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray within the last 90 days
  • Physical examination within the last 30 days
  • Minimum one year of documented healthcare experience
  • Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile
