About the Role

EnSafe is seeking a highly skilled GIS Analyst to join our team. As a GIS Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our environmental consulting and engineering firm by analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client data and perform database extraction to ensure timely data updates.
  • Develop custom Python script tools to manipulate data sets and produce maps for analysis and presentations.
  • Explore Python language to develop similar scripts and automate tasks.
  • Use survey-precision GPS equipment to update municipal asset data.
  • Determine the location, documentation, and digitizing of construction/as-built drawings.
  • Map creation and editing from the digitization and extraction from aerial photography and commercial imagery.
  • Develop a population estimation and visualization application to illustrate the makeup of populations surrounding regulated facilities.
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in GIS or a related discipline is required.
  • Experience with ArcGIS 10.x, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Online, and various Esri apps (Collector, Survey 123, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong work ethic, responsible, and dependable.
  • Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively.
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
  • Programming experience is a plus.
