Job Title: Business Development Technical Sales Representative

At The Judge Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advocate for the company's mission and business objectives, and initiate and foster new customer and corporate relationships.
  • Advance opportunities through the sales cycle, and support business unit leaders in transaction completion.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend or demonstrate relevant products and applications.
  • Maintain and update business development records, including customer communications and contact information.
  • Provide regular updates to management on prospecting activities, and attend virtual and in-person industry events when safe and appropriate.
  • Prepare proposals and maintain customer contact portals, and determine the technical requirements of customers and suggest suitable products.
  • Explain complex technical information to customers, and follow up with customers and resolve any arising issues.
  • Keep customers informed about new technological products, and compile proposals and reports related to technical products.
  • Maintain periodic contact with customers throughout project durations, and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets and maintain ongoing interaction with the sales team.
Requirements:
  • BS/BA in Engineering or a related field (alternative degrees considered with relevant technology experience).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of sales or marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of sales promotion and business development techniques.
  • Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the company's products.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and follow up on leads.
  • Exceptional skills in relating company capabilities to customers.
  • Excellent presentation skills and a professional appearance.
  • Valid driver's license and passport, with willingness to travel extensively (up to 50% based on business needs).
