Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist I to join our team at A.O. Fox. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and dispense medication orders according to established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
  • Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel in a respectful manner.
  • Verify the daily activities of pharmacy technicians and point out errors in a non-punitive constructive manner.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as directed or perform tasks not assigned when a need arises.
Requirements
  • 5-year degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, required.
  • Must maintain all requirements including continuing education as mandated by the New York State Board of Pharmacy, required.
  • Minimum one year experience as a registered pharmacist, preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires occasional travel and may involve exposure to bodily fluids, chemicals, and other hazardous materials.
