Key Responsibilities

  • Enforce alcohol perimeter policies while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor
  • Control access to events and ensure that event attendees are 21 years and older
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • General property security, including securing property before, during, and after events
  • Conduct pat-down searches and bag checks for alcohol compliance
  • Operate company vehicles, including trucks and snowmobiles, in varying terrain and conditions
  • Perform hourly security checks of all ttpster properties
  • Respond to fire and burglar alarms as necessary
  • Deal with guests and other individuals under varying circumstances
  • May be required to transport guests in shuttle vans
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as any regulatory requirements
  • Set up, tear down, and cleanup of events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Criminal Justice Degree helpful but not required
  • Previous security experience helpful but not required
  • Previous guest service experience helpful but not required
  • Ability to communicate and handle confrontational and intoxicated event attendees
  • High tolerance to remain level under pressure and in stressful situations
  • Ability to think and work as a team player
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with ttpster's Service Excellence standards

Physical Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing; Spanish a plus
  • Must stand for long periods of time
  • Must bend down to frisk for hidden alcohol on guests attending events
  • Expected to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must work mostly outdoors, sometimes in extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather

Additional Information

  • This is an hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay
  • Position is expected to work weekends, evenings, some days, and holidays as needed
  • Must successfully complete a background check
  • Pursuant to county and/or state orders and company policies, every employee is required to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, practice social distancing, wash hands frequently, wear a mask per current guidelines, self-report and call in immediately and stay home if sick, and assist with sanitizing and disinfecting work areas
