About Us: Packard Culligan Water is in search of a customer-focused individual with a solid mechanical background to join our team as a Service Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of residential water treatment systems. Expect to be active throughout the day, utilizing your problem-solving skills to address technical challenges that may arise.
Key Qualities for a Successful Service Technician:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities
- High motivation to efficiently complete assigned tasks
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in plumbing or water conditioning service/installation
- Ability to think critically and resolve issues promptly
- Capacity to work under pressure and in physically demanding situations (lifting up to 185 lbs)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service-oriented role
- Must successfully pass a DOT physical examination
Responsibilities of a Service Technician:
- Represent Packard Culligan Water professionally within the community
- Service, install, and repair both residential and commercial water treatment systems
- Exceed customer expectations by providing exceptional service
- Promote and sell additional Packard Culligan products and services
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts between 6 AM and 6 PM, with potential for extended hours
