Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our mental health team, you will provide high-quality assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services to adult and child members. You will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for members with acute or chronic mental health needs.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, as well as crisis intervention services.
  • Collaborate with our medical team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in staff conferences to select, plan, and evaluate treatment programs.
  • Develop and conduct psychoeducational classes and groups to support member education and empowerment.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) or equivalent licensure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of DSM-V and evidence-based practice principles.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
  • Experience in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and treatment planning.
  • Commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a highly interactive multidisciplinary clinic.
