As a Janitor under the guidance of the Supervisor, you will be responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of buildings, restrooms, waste receptacles, and parking areas. Your responsibilities encompass debris clearance, floor vacuuming and polishing, carpet cleaning, and waste management. It is essential to monitor cleanliness levels diligently to adhere to company standards. Communicating effectively and respectfully with clients is crucial. Utilize the appropriate tools and supplies in a responsible and efficient manner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, mops, and wringers.
  • Sanitize and clean floors, carpets, and waste containers.
  • Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including walls, windows, and furniture arrangement.
  • Ensure cleanliness in offices, break rooms, and meeting spaces.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain waste bins.
  • Recognize and follow safety protocols.
  • Document inspections and maintenance activities.
  • Assist with minor landscaping and grounds maintenance as directed.
  • Carry out assigned duties effectively.
Requirements

Must be 18 years old or above.
Completion of Bloodborne Pathogen training.
Demonstrate a reliable, responsible, and dependable work ethic.
Proficient in English communication.
Familiarity with janitorial tools, equipment, and techniques.
Physical ability to bend, stretch, and lift items up to 50 lbs.
Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Work effectively and safely.
Pass background checks and screening as per contract and company standards.
