Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Ascension St. John Medical Center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Aid patients with movement and placement, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity.
- Report changes in patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff, documenting necessary records.
- Maintain patient rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and manage medical equipment.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
- Nurse Aide certification preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
