KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Personal Care Support: Engage in meaningful conversation and provide companionship to clients.
- Mobility Assistance: Aid clients with walking and assist in home-based physical therapy exercises.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals, monitor dietary needs, and assist clients during mealtime.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take their medications as prescribed.
- Hygiene Assistance: Support clients with bathing, grooming, and dressing activities.
- Toileting Support: Provide assistance with toileting needs.
HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a tidy living environment.
- Laundry Services: Handle laundry and linen washing tasks.
- Transportation Assistance: Accompany clients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Financial Assistance: Help clients with bill payments and manage grocery shopping.
OVERNIGHT CARE
- Provide all services associated with companionship during evening hours.
- Assist clients with their evening routines and be available for support throughout the night.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Assist with any other related tasks as requested by clients.
- Report any changes in clients' health, needs, or living conditions to the office.
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with clients.
- Ensure the respectful treatment of clients and their property.
- Ability to travel to clients' homes using personal or public transportation.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds as required.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked.
